Dr. Kitty Brandal and Sravanthi Vallampati DTM

Kitty Brandal, PhD

Dr. Kitty Brandal is an experienced independent trainer who has been training and developing people for over 25 years. She is the President of Corporate Compass Training, LLC. She specializes in emotional intelligence and leadership development. Corporate Compass offers
interactive training workshops in emotional intelligence, change leadership, diversity, conflict management, customer service, team synergy, and many other programs that can bring harmony into the workplace and positively impact your bottom line.

Dr. Brandal taught leadership, communication, diversity, and sexual harassment concepts while serving in the United States Navy and higher education. She earned the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for designing training programs for military personnel while stationed at The Pentagon. She designed and presented programs to help with professional advancement, and personal enrichment, and to help with strategic communication processes across the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
She holds a PhD in Organizational Management and Leadership. Kitty completed research for her dissertation in the areas of Emotional Intelligence and Communication Apprehension Theory. She has worked with over 100 organizations in various industries.

Sravanthi Vallampati

Sravanthi Vallampati is a long-term resident of greater Cleveland who continues to enjoy the abundant diversity beyond her hometown through her volunteer involvement. She takes a special interest in educational, socio-cultural, and youth leadership activities.

A leader in Information Technology by profession, Sravanthi is also an educator, mentor, D, E, and I Ambassador, multiple non-profit Board Member, and an award-winning Distinguished Toastmaster. Intentional about her voice, she endeavors to create positive change through self-reflection and empowerment.

Her work in the DEI space stems from her belief that the world is a better place for all if only we create within ourselves the capacity to receive the abundant diversity that is around us. Her special interest in the subject, especially concerning belonging and inclusion, has informed her inspiring work to create equity at the community and corporate levels.

Sravanthi is an incurable optimist who sees herself as a student of lifelong learning and meaningful giving. She lives in Aurora, OH with her husband Nalini Mohan, and daughters, Apoorva and Pooja.
